Guests at our Missoula lodging on Saturday, November 21 have the opportunity to watch world-class ballet when The Moscow Ballet performs The Great Russian Nutcracker. It is always thrilling when this caliber of artist visits Missoula.
The Great Russian Nutcracker is a bit different from the classic Nutcracker ballet that many of us know and love. Directed by Anatoli Emelianov, the performers dance in front of exquisite hand-painted scenery. Life-sized dancing puppets share the stage with them, adding a whimsical element to the ballet. Come visit the “Land of Peace and Harmony” and meet the Christmas Dove.
It has been said by critics that this Great Russian Nutcracker is “flawless,†“breathtaking,†and “dazzling.†According to the Moscow Ballet, “Whimsical and imaginative storytelling blend with the richness of Russian classical ballet to make the Great Russian Nutcracker a memorable holiday treat for everyone.”
One of the great things about living and working in a Missoula bed and breakfast is that we have both incredible outdoor recreation and first-rate cultural activities at our fingertips. We enjoy taking advantage of these opportunities whenever we can, and it delights us that our guests can, too. It is not too early to plan to attend the Great Russian Nutcracker while staying at our Missoula lodging. The holidays will soon be upon us – this year, treat yourself and your family to something truly special.
