First Night in Missoula

There is no place more fun than Missoula on New Year’s Eve. Okay, maybe that’s a slight overstatement, but we stand by the fact that Missoula is a great place to welcome the New Year.

Missoula has been celebrating First Night since 1994. and each year, the city outdoes itself. The goal is “to create an accessible, affordable, alcohol-free New Year’s Eve celebration for the entire family”. The festivities start at noon and continue until midnight.
The list of activities is enormous: swim and ice skate, watch ice carving chefs and create a luminary peace sign; learn about Incredible Edible Bugs with Annika Johns, and see the Mr. G. Science Show; learn African Dance and listen to Lee Zimmerman on cello; there will be Guitar Quartets, Taekwondo, and Jazz Graffiti; watch Magician Mark King, see The Mime in action, and listen to tales by the Missoula Folklore Society.
Who knew Missoula could be so much fun?
Well, we did. Come see for yourself.
