Missoula Montana Nordic Ski Trails

Cross country ski trails are open in the Missoula area and skiers are pleased as punch. A sampling of comments from the Missoula Nordic Ski Club reveals conditions are great, especially for skate skiing. If hearing this kind of talk makes your pulse quicken with excitement then load your skis on your car and hurry to our Bed and Breakfast Missoula Montana.

Recent comments about the Pattee Canyon trails include: “Skating was superb!”, “Very good conditions…”, “Enjoyed fabulous and fast skating…”. Pattee Canyon is east of the Bitterroot Valley, about thirty minutes from our Bed and Breakfast Montana.
Skiers glowed about the skiing at Lubrecht Experimental Forest, which is 30 miles east of Missoula on Highway 200.  Recent comments included, “Twilight skiing always magical”. Theses trails are vigilantly maintained – groomed whenever there is snowfall. Dogs are permitted on Lubrecht trails, and since we are a pet friendly Missoula Bed and Breakfast, why not treat your pooch to a healthy romp in the snow.
The Rattlesnake Recreation Area is just a few miles north of Missoula and short drive from our inn. The main road to Franklin bridge is groomed weekly in the winter, offering a picturesque, wide path into the forest. To date this year the skiing has been called “beautiful” and “gorgeous”.
Relax in the jacuzzi after a day of skiing, then curl up with a book by the fire. We also have a large selection of DVDs, and popcorn is always provided! When your muscles feel weary, there is no better place to be than our Missoula Bed and Breakfast.
