October 7 is First Friday in Missoula

Missoula is fun to visit any day of the week, but on the First Friday evening of each month, the downtown positively comes alive. This is true in the middle of the summer and it’s true in the middle of the winter. It’s true when it rains, when it’s clear, and when it snows. Missoulans don’t let any kind of weather keep us from enjoying something we want to enjoy. It’s one of our best traits.
Art galleries and shops in the heart of downtown Missoula stay open late. New exhibits go up and frequently the artists are in attendance. Many galleries feature live music, hors d’oeuvres, and drinks. People wander in and out of galleries, lingering in some, taking a quick tour of others.
Let First Friday inspire a weekend at our Missoula Bed and Breakfast. Infuse yourself with culture on Friday evening, and relax on Saturday. Seems an ideal way to rejuvenate for the week to come.
