Nature at the inn (5) smallDecember through February are perfect months to enjoy a downhill or cross country skiing expedition, a sleigh ride or ice fishing experience near our Missoula Inn.  (These activities are not offered at the Bed and Breakfast, but you can find information on our links page.)  The University of Montana offers many musical and cultural events at this time and our Community Theater is at its height. You will find nothing more spectacular at our Missoula Bed and Breakfast as a crystal clear day framed in blue sky and frost covered trees or a moonlight winter night that casts shadows over the pond and rock garden. We invite you to join our family on Christmas Eve when we often have a Medieval feast, a Swedish smorgasbord, or a more traditional meal of roasted meats, vegetables and lots of fun and song!

Winter at The B&B is a great time to curl up with a book, watch a movie, listen to the old player piano or take a walk in the snow. A party of four or more can make arrangements for an evening of fondue, or a multi-course ethnic dinner featuring French, Italian, Spanish, Scandinavian, Thai or even Medieval cuisine specialties.

Dinner (for four or more):

Winter Feature: Enjoy one of the best bowls of clam chowder around accompanied by warm, buttery popovers, a light salad and a grilled salmon steak with lemon-tarragon seasoning.

December Specialty:
gather around with family for either an evening of fondue, a Swedish smorgasbord or a Medieval feast!

January Specialty: “Sum” New Year Fun.” Get ready to ring in the Chinese New Year with a selection of Dim Sum delicacies and a couple of good friends!

February Specialty: “Something Sweet.” Treat your sweetheart to a special Valentine’s Day getaway, complete with chocolate hearts and a long stemmed rose. You can make reservations for an elegant candle light dinner of Italian Carbonara with shrimp and Italian sausage in a Marsala cream sauce. This is accompanied with a roasted red pepper soup, salad with huckleberry vinaigrette dressing and Italian flat bread. Dessert will be chocolate fondue.
